No personal data collected
We do not collect, store, or share any personal user data. ExplainIt does not require an account.
Pages are processed, not stored
The extension accesses the currently open page only when you actively use it. The content is processed temporarily to generate an explanation and discarded right after — it is never retained.
No tracking, no profiling
We do not use tracking technologies, and we do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or profiling of any kind.
Anonymous usage identifier
A temporary anonymous identifier may be used only to manage free-usage limits and credits. It contains no personal information and cannot be traced back to you.
Secure processing
All processing happens securely through our backend. No sensitive data is retained on our servers.
